Antanase is a village near Obeliai and Nasiai lakes, and Kriaunos stream. The village is settled on the both sides of Rokiškis - Zarasai road. An old manor is standing in Antanašė. For a long period it was controlled by Riomeriai (the family of a few famous artists), Lithuanian artists Edvardas Jonas Riomeris and Edvardas Matas Riomeris lived here.
In the year 1941 many Jewish families were killed in Antanašė village.
