Gaveikėnai village is settled in Aukštaitija Nationa Park on the eastern bank of Dringis Lake. The village first mentioned in 1373.
Small river runs through the village. Near the Palaukinis lake river is dammed and the water mill built. It was built in 1800. Now the mill is a cultural monument. A cafe works in it.
