The monument for the Lithuanian duke Vytautas the Great was built in Kernavė in the year 2003. It is a work of sculptor A. Kmieliauskas.
The monument had to stand next to the place, where the first Kernavė church stood, but this project was rejected by Kernavė reserve, so the monument found a place in the yard of Kernavė presbytery.
