Most famous architectural sight in Palūšė is the church of St. Joseph together with belfry. This wooden ensemble was built in XVIII century and now it is the oldest wooden church in Lithuania. There are some valuable examples of folk art - paintings, wood carvings, brass bells with baroque ornaments.
In the church the father of composer Mikas Petrauskas and singer Kipras Petrauskas worked as an organist.
