Rėkučiai village stands between Vajuonis and Kretuonis lakes in Aukštaitija National Park. This village is famous because of defensive earth wall, which was built from earth and logs in XIII century. It had to defend Lithuanian lands from Selonians. Now there is no true knowledge about the length of this wall.
Also, near Rėkučiai there is a huge burial mound and some other mounds, which show, that people in this place lived already in IX century B.C.
