Geographical centre of Lithuania

In the year 1995 State land survey institute used the date from satellites and determined, that the geographical centre of Lithuania is in Ruoščiai village. In the exact location of the centre the stone mark was build. Later Vytautas Kundrotas projected the monument, and following this project, two more stones were brought here, to represent the Highlands and Lowlands.
