Trainiškis is an ethnographic Lithuanian village on the Baluošis Lake shore.
Village is known for the Trainiškis oak, which is attracting tourists to the village. It is believed, that oak’s age is somewhere about 1000 years. The trunk’s girth is more than 6 meters and the oak’s height is 23 meters. Now the oak is weak and dying, the inside is rotten away, the huge hollow yawn in the trunk and the branches are dry.
